Reflective Writing A self portrait of myself as a writer and a learner
Guiding Question • How do we write a rough draft of a reflective piece of writing?
Activity • Picture in your mind a reader for your reflective letter. • Who would be most interested in your growth as a writer? • Who has influenced your writing?
Activity • Consider your memories of literacy experiences • Did any experience relate to a writing piece in your portfolio? • Did this experience involve your audience/person you chose?
Activity • Use your reflective notes from Lesson #1 and your graphic organizer from Lesson #2 to begin writing a letter to your chosen audience about how you have grown as a writer and as a learner.
