Some Examples: Notice the eye-catching sizes, fonts, and choice of words. Colors weren’t printed yet...sorry. The “$50,000 Reward” for whoever knew who sunk the Maine is very noticeable since it is repeated so many times and put in many different places. This will quickly draw the eye of the public and cause more newspapers to be bought.

You really want to know what’s going on in their lives, so you quickly put the magazine in your basket and buy it. That is an example of Yellow Journalism.
