Assessment The PQA allows you to observe what actually goes on in your youth programs. How often do you have the time or energy to simply observe a program led by another staff? How often do you rely on what you think happens in your programs?

Data Collection Tips • Observation and Note-Taking • Try to observe at least 30 minutes of programming. • Try to observe more structured activities • Observing a full program is best
The Consensus Meeting What are your goals for the consensus meeting? How will you support staff in showing up prepared for this meeting? (notes are aligned with items in tool)?
The Consensus Meeting Tips for a Successful Meeting: • Break the meeting into two parts 1-2 hours each • Have food, breaks, energizers • Keep in mind that you want helpful/objective information to guide improvement.
