  2. Accessible Parking Coming to campus for Commencement? Undergraduate and Graduate Commencement can take place at one of the following three locations on our campus: • Gampel Pavilion • Jorgensen Center for the Performing Arts • Rome Ballroom (Pharmacy Undergraduate & Graduate) To locate your student’s ceremony space, visit the UConn Commencement website: http://www.commencement.uconn.edu/may/ For the Pharmacy Commencement, visit: http://web2.uconn.edu/pharmacy2/?page_id=6709 Accessible Parking: Visitors with handicap placards/plates issued by a State Department of Motor Vehicles can park in any legal space that is not reserved or restricted. Visitors cannot park in restricted “D” spaces. These accessible spaces are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Accessible Parking: Gampel Pavilion Individuals who require accessible parking and will be visiting Gampel Pavilion (black star) will find spaces available on the first floor of the South Garage (red arrow). Additional spaces are also located behind Gampel Pavilion and the Field House (purple arrow) Information on accessible entrances, bathrooms, and elevators can be found here: http://csd.uconn.edu/docs/buildings/Gampel.pdf

Accessible Parking: Jorgensen Center for the Performing Arts Individuals who require accessible parking and will be visiting Jorgensen (bottom left) will find spaces available in the North Garage (middle), and also behind Gampel and the Field House (bottom right). Accessible Parking: Rome Ballroom Individuals who require accessible parking and will be visiting Rome Ballroom, located on the top floor of the Rome Commons Building (blue arrow), will find spaces available in the South Garage (red arrow, bottom right) and also behind Gampel and the Field House (purple arrow, bottom right). There are 7 handicapped spaces available right outside of the Nathan Hale Inn (orange arrow, bottom middle), which is directly across from Rome Commons. Additional handicapped spaces may be found near Alumni Residence Halls (green arrow, bottom right), however, there is a large hill between Alumni and Rome. Parking Lot S, located behind the Rome Commons building is another option, and this can be seen on the next slide. Accessible Parking: Campus Lots For individuals who wish to park in the Campus Lots: Lots C, F, S, X, and 9 (see black stars) will be open and have shuttle buses running to and from on Saturday, May 10th and Sunday, May 11th, from 7:30am-9:00pm. The campus map can also be viewed by clicking here.

Access For accessible entrances to any of these buildings, please view the Campus Accessibility Map: http://csd.uconn.edu/docs/campus_accessibility_map_07.pdf If you will require assistance getting to the front of your venue, two accessible vans will be running and will provide transportation from the North Garage (see below).   8. Accommodations Any individual requiring an accommodation for Commencement should notify the Contact Person listed for each school/college, as early as possible!
