  1. Ms. Hillis’ Classroom News January 13– January 17, 2014 Dear Parents, I hope everyone had a great weekend! Please remember to sign and return student report cards as soon as possible. We will be taking the MAP test on Wednesday this week. I want to give a big thanks to those parents who have sent in much needed Kleenex, erasers, paper, and copy paper! I greatly appreciate it! Thanks! Ms. Hillis 395-3353 ashley.hillis@sccpss.com • Items We Need In The Classroom • Dry Erase Markers • Kleenex • Clorox Disinfecting Wipes • #2 Pencils • Copy paper • Antibacterial Hand Sanitizer • Calendar Reminders • January 17th – Award Ceremony • January 20th – No School • February 4th- Field Trip to Jepson Center (more info to d come  Collect Your Box Tops for Our Class!!! Please help our school earn money by collecting Campbell’s Labels for Education and Box Tops for Education. Each classes Box Tops have been collected, so a new friendly competition is starting again on who can collect the most. It’s for a great cause, so please help collect a lot for our class to give.  This Week’s Lunch Menu Monday – Grilled Cheese or Lasagna Rollup Tuesday – Chicken Sandwich or Pork Roast Wednesday – Nachos or Asian Chicken With Rice Thursday – Baked Chicken or Beef-a-Roni Friday – Turkey Pot Pie or Fish Taco News and Events Parents, please take the Georgia Parent Survey developed by the Georgia Department of Education.  Your feedback will be used to calculate our overall school rating at the end of the year.  We need your feedback to show us how you feel we are doing as a school.  The window is open now through January 31.  http://admin.doe.k12.ga/gadoe/sla/gaparents.nsf/Survey.xsp The Awards Ceremony The Awards Ceremony will be January 17th.
