  1. The history of Boluda Corporación Marítima began in 1920 when Vicente Boluda Marí established a tugboat service company. He passed his accomplishments and his passion for the sea to his son, Vicente Boluda Crespo, who assumed the responsibility for the family business, launched and expanded its geographical scope and activities in other ports. During the 90s, at a very young age, Vicente Boluda Fos took over the top responsibility at company. He focused on the internationalization and diversification of the company’s activities , transforming it into what it is nowadays: one of the reference companies in world maritime services across the coasts of Spain, Portugal, France, Italy, West Africa, the Indian Ocean and Latin America.

  3. The main activity of Boluda Towage and Salvage is focused on tug boat services, essential for expediting the flow of traffic in port facilities. This unit occupies a leading position in the national and international services, with a fleet of over 200 tug boats across the main ports of Spain, France, Africa and Latin America. Boluda Towage and Salvage delivers port and coast tug boat services, as well as offshore and maritime salvage.

  8. Offshore: Providing services to oil companies with facilities all over the world, as well as providing assistance and supplies to offshore installations and platforms. This unit renders over 100 tug boat services every year to different types of vessels, barges, pontoons, rigs, cargo ships and oil tankers.

Rescue and participation in fight against contamination: Pioneers in salvage and rescue services, we have collaborated in Spanish Public Administration projects in developing the Salvage and Anti-contamination National Plan during several years. Therefore, we have carried out hundreds of salvage operations, using vessels equipped with anti-contamination and fire systems, as well as high-tech communication devices. Towage: transoceanic and deepsea towage activities, away from ports, carrying out transfers and anchoring of containers of various sizes for construction purposes, towage of floating dams, transport of barges from the North of Europe to West Africa and from Europe to America.

  11. Shipping division focused on merchandise transportation. Counting with a fast and efficient fleet, Boluda Lines runs several commercial lines that link the Iberian Peninsula, the Canary Islands, Italy, West Africa and Cape Verde. Offices located in principal cities and ports strive to meet the specific needs of each client, offering a customized and door-to-door service of every type of cargo, dry or refrigerated.

Moreover, Boluda Lines has a Project Cargo service, or special freight transportation, such as rolling transportation, overweight equipment, overdimenssioned pieces, helicopters, vessels, cranes or pipes, including any kind of heavy-weight operations requiring special treatment and complex logistics.

  13. BOLUDA LINES currently runs seven commercial lines. These lines link the Iberian Peninsula, the Canary Islands, Italy, West Africa and Cape Verde.

  17. Boluda Terminales Marítimas features loading/unloading operations, shipping agentcy, passenger terminals, storage, handling and drayage of containers and all kinds of goods, with the purpose of improving and developing national port facilities.

  19. Transport safety and environment friendly policies are the key aspects of Boluda Tankers. Its oil tankers feature the latest, top of the line, technical characteristics. This unit is in charge of fuel supply and transfer, a strategic service at port facilities. A leader in this field in Spain, with an annual supply capacity of over four million tons of fuel, the company serves at main Spanish ports and transports oil products thru domestic and international waters.

  20. In 1998, Boluda Corporación Marítima expanded its services to Latin America starting crude and refined products shipping, covering a large scope at the Caribbean and South America area.
