  4. HISTORY A lot of joiners, carpenters of Jonava and surrounded regions of it were famed for production of high quality furniture in the beginning of XIX century. It was good opportunity to found a factory in year 1911. After the some period of time the Swedish company URAN renovated this factory as factory of matches in year 1919. One of the owners was J. Kriuger, Swedish businessman. In year 1930 this factory was taken AB “Lithuanian matches”, where the matches were produced till year 1936. In year 1946 instead the factory of matches was founded the factory of furniture production „Beržas”and from year 1947 the factory was renamed in „Jonavos baldai”. In year 1994 the JSC „Jonavos baldai” was reorganized in five companies and one of them is JSC „Baldai Jums” Ltd. 100 YEARS ANNIVERSARY

  8. FURNITURE IS MADE OF:Solid wood as birch and oakmixed with veneered components and MDF.Company is gained FSC certificate, therefore we are able to ensure the chain of custody, because the wood used in the product is from legal and replanted sources. 100 YEARS ANNIVERSARY

TCHNOLOGY(1) • The Company has full production technological cycle from purchase of logs up to manufacture of high-quality pieces of furniture that can be used for many years. • Every year the Company makes investments into modern technologies and equipment. Its wood drying facilities can be considered as the most modern in Lithuania. There are built the modern drying kilns (totally 15 kilns) with capacities of around 1000m3 planks in one time of drying. It also has CNC and other modern processing equipmentt. 100 YEARS ANNIVERSARY

TCHNOLOGY(2) • Company is located in one area, has full production cycle, because of this is flexible in whole stages of production, ensure the right quality and reach competitive costs. • Efficiency of production due to the full utilization of timber (finger jointing, cutoff timber and wet sawdust are used for heating and dry sawdust is used for briquettes, that are sold to external customers). • Right investments in to the increasing of productivity and sustainability. 100 YEARS ANNIVERSARY

PROMOTION OF THE BRAND NAME via: Participation in the fairs as exhibitor: • Stockholm fair in February of 2010; • Helsinki fair in September of 2011; and as visitors in the fairs of Cologne, Birmingham. Local store chain: The store in Vilnius was opened in May 1st of 2010 in Akropolis. It takes over 100 square meters; • The store in Kaunas was opened in December of 2010/ over 100 square meters. 100 YEARS ANNIVERSARY
