  4. Overall the change to 1 inch hail will result in: • We will be issuing less warnings and most will be for strong winds. • There will be significantly more SPS’s to cover hail up to nickel size (0.88)

  5. Here are a couple warning aids to help us detect severe hail. • The freezing level chart was made by looking at 2 studies from the Central Plains.

  6. Other Tools for detecting severe hail Three Body Scatter Spike (Hail Spike) 65+dbZ core at or above freezing level or 60+dbZ core above -20C level
