2. Tasks: RSUI • Original concept: Improve the way in which the restaurant staff interacts with one another. This includes the waiters, chefs, and managers. • Includes: • Improved communication • Streamlined ordering • Better response time • Due to limitations, we decided to focus on waiters.

Tasks: Original Task Descriptions • Easy: • The waiter needs to give the chef orders • The waiter needs to know when the customer needs assistance. • Moderate: • The waiter needs to quickly determine the cost of the meal. • The waiter needs to know when the chef completes an order. • Difficult: • The waiter needs to request the help of the manager. • The waiter needs to take the customers’ orders.
