  2. Introduction • MUET Library has been offering services since 1977, to meet the institutional goals of newly upgraded university. • The library moved to its new building in June, 2009.

  3. Library Timings 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 Mid Night During working days

  4. Library Services • Reference (Ground Floor). • Circulation (First Floor). • Online Information Center (Lower Ground Floor). • Multimedia & Research Development Center. (Lower Ground Floor). • User Awareness, programs (Conference Room) • Wi-Fi Internet Services available in the Library

Sections & Services of the Library • Reference Section In Reference section more than 18000 Collection is available in open access for faculty and students with security system. • Reference Sources • Single copy of every title of the book which is available lending collection. • Rare Books.(The out of print books) • Government Publications. • Magazines and newspapers • Scanning/ Photocopy facility

  6. Sections & Services of the Library 2. Circulation Collection • Lending Collection. In lending Collection more than 99000 books are available on engineering and its allied fields according to syllabus • Book Bank. In Books Bank more than 23000 text books are available on engineering and its allied fields according to syllabus .

  7. 3. Online Information Centre. • Free Internet access to all library users • Access to 28 databases under which thousands subscribed e-journals and ebooks are available under Digital Library Program by HEC) • Access of e-books under ebrary database by HEC.

  10. 5. User Awareness Program • Organizing workshops about the access of e-resources provided by HEC digital library program for faculty members, researchers, postgraduate/undergraduate students by Library professionals on weekly basis.

The smart card form will be signed by the Chairman / Focal Person of the department. • The Library membership Challan will be available at MUET Library & online Information center. • Deposit all 03 Challans for Library membership and University smart card. • Form Verified/signed by Library Focal Person of Library. • Form will be submitted to the ICPC for getting Smart Card. • Fee for University smart card Rs.100.00 (Mandatory) • Fee for library membership Rs.200.00 (Mandatory) • Fee for Book Bank Rs.100 (Optional) Smart Card/Library Membership Process
