  5. NGN – General (2) • Main Outcome: • Collaboration between SDOs and ITU-T is considered to be working well • There was fruitful discussion regarding matters in Common IMS • It was noted that the NGN Resolution would need to be revised particularly in terms of IMS and a drafting group was formed (gsc11/16), it was noted that (gsc12_gtsc5_09a1r1) would also be referenced by the drafting group • Discussion occurred around the Resolution recommendations regarding the NGN Release Concept (gsc12_gtsc5_18) and it was noted that the drafting group would also consider NGN Release Concept • The revised Resolution was reviewed and approved (GTSC5/01, gsc12_closing_30) • Maintained as HIS for GSC-13; ETSI remains Prime PSO "Standardization : The Bridge towards Ubiquitous World"

  6. NGN – End-to-End QoS • Issues Discussed: • Presentation on a National Approach for the End-to-End QoS Issue in Korea provided by TTA(gsc12_gtsc5_02) • Presentation on ATIS PPSO QoS Activities (gsc12_gtsc5_11) • Main Outcome: • Quality of Service and Quality of Experience are universally agreed as being critical, but they have many different definitions in the world’s standards bodies. • It was noted that there is currently no separate Resolution on NGN End-to-End QoS. • Maintained as HIS for GSC-13; ATIS remains Prime PSO "Standardization : The Bridge towards Ubiquitous World"

  7. NGN – Service Platforms and Interworking of Services • Issues Discussed: • Presentation on a Study for NGN Interconnection provided by ITU-T (gsc12_gtsc5_06) • Presentation on NGN – Service Platforms and Interworking of Service provided by ATIS(gsc12_gtsc5_12) • Main Outcome: • Collaboration must continue in order to align NGN Service Architectures and utilize the service capabilities and service enablers already defined • The Resolution for NGN from GSC-11 was reviewed (gsc-11/16) and the drafting group addressing this Resolution was asked to include this topic in their work • The revised NGN Resolution was reviewed and additional wording supplied (GTSC5/01, gsc12_closing_30) • Maintained as HIS for GSC-13; ATIS remains Prime PSO "Standardization : The Bridge towards Ubiquitous World"

  8. Cybersecurity • Issues Discussed: • Presentation on Combating Cyber Attacks and Standardization Activities in Korea provided by TTA (gsc12_gtsc5_03) • Presentation on ITU-T Security Standardization(gsc12_gtsc5_07) • Presentation on the ATIS PPSO Cyber-security Activities(gsc12_gtsc5_13) • Main Outcome: • The importance of global collaboration on matters of Cyber-Security was stressed • The Resolution for Cybersecurity from GSC-11 was reviewed (GSC11/17) and a drafting group was formed to revise the Resolution • The revised Resolution was reviewed and approved (GTSC5/02, gsc12_closing_31) • Maintained as HIS for GSC-13; ATIS remains Prime PSO "Standardization : The Bridge towards Ubiquitous World"
