  11. Divide = Break into smaller groups! * * * * * * * * * * * * 12 Divided into 3 groups * * * * * * * * * * * * = 4 per group 12 / 3 = 4!

  12. Remember your family when dividing! Dad – divide Mom – multiply Sister – subtract Brother – bring down Rover - remainder

  17. It’s the same thing! 4x3=12 3x4=12 5x3=15 3x5=15 You can switch the factors in multiplication and still get the same answer!
