  1. Data delivery • By January 15th • Employment • Annual series employees and self employed separately for 72 industries in Prodsys readable form • Full series from early 1990s • As much division as feasible back to 1970 • National accounts as control totals • 1 or 2 page document on how the national accounts totals are constructed • By Dec 3rd NIESR will have responded to each partner with suggestions/refinements for reformatting data files to make them prodsys compatible

Data delivery • By January 15th • Hours employees and self employed (hours per employee) • Annual series for 72 industries in Prodsys readable form allowing assumption that hours are the same within sub industries • Average annual actual hours figure that corresponds with the national accounts measure • Any revisions from this point on will only be to the data not to the format of the file • By January 22nd • Feedback on the data files to partners • Up to mid-March additional feedback possible

  3. Data delivery • Labour quality • Template to be circulated by NIESR before Christmas • Mid march for preliminary data – head counts and wage rates • Final data by the middle of the summer • Split by age and skill and genders • Hours by type of labour is not expected but feel free to deliver!

  4. Data delivery • Labour quality • Minimum requirements • At least three age groups • 15-29 • 30-49 • 50+ • More disaggregation is fine, but do stick within these boundaries

  5. Data delivery • At least three skill groups, • University graduates • intermediate • Leaving school at age 16 • preferably 5 skill groups • University graduate • Higher education below degree • Intermediate vocational plus advanced education • Low intermediate plus low education • No skills

  6. Data delivery • Industry breakdown of labour quality • Subject to minimum sample size • We will send round the agreed list of industries as a minimum requirement.
