Acculturation Objectives • Informing new international students about the working of mobile communication in the Netherlands :- • Keep in touch with their anxious families back at home • Students need to connect with their friends in a new environment • Browse important information like locations of stores and places in a new city, if they consider taking the mobile internet • Briefing them about the mobile companies and their call plans and tariffs • Help students locate the mobile stores in Delft with a handy map

DORDRECHT 3 REFLECTIONS • DECISION MAKING • Open Talk • 4 people, 4 different connections • Agreement on the importance • COOPERATION AND DIVISION OF TASKS • Based on the mobile connections • Confidence with a particular task • Collection of information and working towards the product was a collective effort by every member

  6. LESSON FROM THE ASSIGNMENT • Our acculturation Understanding other’s approach by multicultural working. Equal positions in expressing opinions Acculturation expanded our horizon • Working in projects Different views, better results! • Working in multicultural teams Open-mindedness made cooperation possible and resolved minor differences

Satisfied with the results • It will help people to ease the process of getting settled in Delft in it’s own way • As soon as people will be able to use the journals setteling will be much easier! • So our final statement is: The only ones that are able to help students setteling down, are students. Start with it!
