Attendance Policies • Notification from parent • Email preferred; note, voicemail acceptable • Closes circle of communication Two weeks for practice One month for performance • Lack of notice MAY results in loss of third quarter or performance privileges.
Attendance, pg. 2 • Band camp • 7/30-8/3 If you are going to miss camp email Mr. R. ASAP, please. Missing camp will probably remove you from part of the field show. This decision is made on a case by case basis. Fill out the absentee form after enrollment. Quick, easy, and simple Email if you would like to do that as well.
Schedule • Complete May through November • No drop off more than 30 mins. • Please pick up on time • Changes will occur!! • We try to adhere to attendance policy for major changes, as situations permit. • Work is never an excused absence (see attendance).

Philosophy • Create a dynamic, artistic, and fun environment that encourages students to achieve a high level of musical excellence and personal responsibility, leadership, and accomplishment.
Policies • Concert Band is a requirement for all MB Members • Exceptions: color guard only members • Percussionists should be in the Percussion class

Materials • Registration is one-way. Don’t sign up unless you mean it. • Handbook is online • Students MUST register by 6/22 • Please see or email me with any questions • All paperwork due by June 28th • Medical form/Contract
Fun Stuff! Pool Party at Htown Pool after week 1 of Camp DCI Drum Corps show at Regal on 8/9 Exhibition shows for Marching Bands only Playing for 1000s of people Hangin’ with your “Band peeps” Collegiate Band festival (optional) and PSU band jam on 9/15
Orlando 2019 • Broad strokes: • April 16-20, 2019 • 4 Disney parks and Universal, 2 clinics • Home in time for Easter Sunday • Approx. $1500-$1600 • Still working out unknown (2019 pricing) • Chaperones need clearances through school • NURSE!!!
