  2. Reassessment • At the age of 30, men and women have a way of reevaluating before they take actions. • Reassessment is about the age of 30 you reevaluate last ten years of their life.

  3. Intimacy And Relationships • While when men grow older they become more and more independent as they age. Where women grow more and more attached and dependent on the relationship.

  4. Adult Hood • An Adult reaches their goal of out doing there parents goals. Such as one of the parents going to a big collage and then the child will exceed the goal but, get a PhD in a certain field.

  5. Intimacy • Believed that people that do not develop intimate relationships fall into pattern of isolation and loneliness. • Intimate relationship not necessarily a physical relationship

  6. Marriages • Marriages provide security for people. • Most teen marriages end in divorce because of the lack of personal stability • 75% to 80% of all people are at least married once • In a poll in the U.S. people still believe that in marriage its suppose to be for life.

  7. Generativity • Generativity is one of the hardest thing for middle aged adults • It’s the ability to create originate and produce adds meaning to life • Helps to maintain and enhance ones self esteem

  8. Midlife Crisis • Is the second period of reassessment Parents feel less needed and thus depressed(Crushing reality) • Find new outlets/talents (Cars) Find careers or hobbies to keep busy

  9. Empty nest syndrome • Emptiness loss that parents feel after children have left and established own lives. • Some woman lose sense of purpose and become depressed when kids leave and they’re not needed • Many woman mention positive changes greater piece of mind and personal stability
