E-3Learning: Development of A Comprehensive Web-Based Learning System (Cont 1) • E-3Learn-Main • Objectives • Components • Enrich – section describes sites to help teaching and learning • Project – sites containing project information • Project with evaluation • Example – provided in websites to encourage students interaction with contents, teachers and peers • Extend – describes what have been learned in the E-3learning project and the resources implications • Evaluate – Evaluation system which allows teachers to cooperate in the whole evaluation process • Disseminate - provides links on papers on the project
E-3Learning: Development of A Comprehensive Web-Based Learning System (Cont 2) • Impact • Staff, institutions, and Hong Kong students benefited from a variety of educationally-sound e-learning activities. • Mobile e-learning activities were developed and investigated, giving Hong Kong students leading-edge educational experiences. • The university community benefited from the investigation of mobile e-learning technologies. • Global impact was enabled since Hong Kong is generally recognized as a leader in the use of mobile telephone technology. • Furthermore, each participating university benefited from the shared resources and skills sets provided by this project.
