  3. Why teachers use them • For students to become more technologically advanced • As an assessment tool • Meeting accreditation requirements

Types Of Portfolios • There are many different types of portfolios, but all of those types can be lumped into two groups which are: student portfolios and professional portfolios (there are also personal portfolios that one can make on their own, but they are not as pertinent to educated fields as much as the other two)

  8. How to create a professional portfolio • Include a copy of your resume, documents, licenses, tests, etc. • classes you've taught and include what level you teach. • copies a lesson or recent lesson plans. • Also talk about what references or previous jobs or even honors you’ve received.
