Need for Media Council • Press Council Chairman Justice MarkandeyaKatju has called for urgent need to form Media Council in place of Press Council of India • Justice Katju has demanded punitive powers to the Council • Katju’s criticism of the journalists has evoked mixed responses • Is he right or wrong?

  10. Are they trust worthy? • Yes • On the whole the media can still be trusted • If not ,who else can save this country? • With all the deficiencies our press is the best • I am proud of it
