  2. Definitions • Vertical integration – • Where one Company owns/ controls all the sections in the production of their product. This means if one thing goes then the whole company is in trouble. E.g. Apple. • Horizontal integration – • Where one company owns several others to make profit. So if one fails or is sold they have others to fall onto. E.g. Virgin.

  7. Those company perks Predators This Is England Film four, being one of the production companies will allow advertisement on T.V. E.g. film 4 & channel 4. Unfortunately this is a smaller target audience compared with the news corp. ownership, so word of mouth may be heavily required. • News corp. allows, Cross media convergence in which it reaches out to a wider audience, coverage and positive reviews in News corp. productions/ materials, this is as they own media such as 20th century fox, sky news, fox and many news papers.
