  1. Feedback Protocol • Round 1 – Teacher talks about the lesson, responders (colleagues) listen. • Include: grade level EL & challenging student objective adaptations lesson plan (realia) student work samples • Each round will take 5 minutes

  2. Feedback Protocol • Round 2 – Responders ask questions of the teacher (probing questions), teacher clarifies. • Each round will take 5 minutes

  3. Feedback Protocol • Round 3 – Responders look at work samples then give advice and affirmations based on the observations of both the lesson and the student work while teacher listens. Feedback Includes: • Red Flags (problems) • Gaps (missing content) • Questions (probing) • Affirmations (what went well) • Each round will take 5 minutes
