  2. A hedgehogs most striking adaptation is its quills it uses them to defend its self

  3. A hedgehog also has a great scene of smell It uses hearing a lot to detect it's prey, and to detect danger. If a hedgehog were to hear a worm, it would most probably be rather loud.

  4. Hedgehogs eat small invertebrates, such as slugs and earthworms. They occasionally eat the eggs of ground nesting birds.

  5. Hedgehog’s also have claws but they rarely use them They are made of the stuff that makes up you finger nails
