  3. Wise Leaders • Character: called by Christ Prov 1:7 (p.481) Kings detest wrongdoing, for a throne is established through righteousness. Prov 16:12 NIV • His love gives you confidence. • Grow: 13:30; 27:5-6; 27:17 • Tested: 24:10, 29:25; 27:21

  4. Wise Leaders • Self-Disciplined: hard work, problem solving Prov 12:24 • Extra work – 27:23 • Controlled emotions and words – 25:28; 17:27-28 • Planning – 27:12

  5. Wise Leaders • Right Attitude: encouragement, building Prov 17:22 Worry weighs a person down;an encouraging word cheers a person up. Prov 12:25 • Words – 16:24; 25:15; 27:5-6; 27:10 • Critics– 25:21-22

  6. Wise Leaders • Right Decisions Prov 25:26 • Discernment – 5:2 • Not about – 23:4; 29:4; 28:15-16; 31:1-5 • Make or break – 15:22; 26:24; 31:8-9; 26:20

  7. Wise Leaders • Vision Prov31:8-9 I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age. Matt 28:18-20
