  2. Respect “...raise up for you a prophet...to him you shall give heed...soul that does not heed... ” Respect includes the whole counsel of God What are some good ways to reach people around you? What are some things that will give you connection to those around you? MOSES? Samuel? Abraham?

  4. Respect “...raise up for you a prophet...to him you shall give heed...soul that does not heed... ” Are you sure Jesus is in the OT??? Gen. 3:15 Exodus Leviticus Numbers 21 This Bible is a “Him-book”, the whole thing is about Him!

  5. Respect “...raise up for you a prophet...to him you shall give heed...soul that does not heed... ” Respect must include heeding God's word. To Heed means to pay very close attention to, to highly regard, to hold closely too. “If you love me you will keep my commandments.” NASV John 14:15 (conditional) “The one who says, 'I have come to know Him,' and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.” 1 John 2:4 Believing and knowing are two different things!!!

Respect “...raise up for you a prophet...to him you shall give heed...soul that does not heed... ” “He who has my commandments and keeps them, he it is who loves me,...” (possessive and conditional) “If you keep my commandments, you will abide in my love, just as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in His love.” John 15:10 (conditional & positional abide in is to have a position in or in the presence of) The one who then knows the words of Jesus, HEEDS the words of Jesus and know who gave them to Jesus will enjoy His very presence in their life!!! There is no way one can HEED His words and then not experience His presence and His love!

  7. Reality “...you are the sons of the prophets and of the covenant...For you first....” How did you guys miss Him??? Is. 7:14 He would be born of a virgin Lk. 1:7 it happened! Micah 5:2 born in Bethlehem Lk. 2:4 that happened! Gen. 49:10 born of tribe of Judah Mt. 3:3 that happened! Zech. 9:9 ride on colt of a donkey Mt. 21 that happened!

  8. Reality “...you are the sons of the prophets and of the covenant...For you first....” Is. 61 heal broken-hearted Lk. 4:18 that happened! Is. 53:3 rejected by own Jn. 1:11 that happened! Is. 53:7 stand silent before accusers Mk. 15:5 that happened! Ps. 22:18 cast lots for His robe Jn. 19:23 that happened! Ps. 22 (hundreds of years before crucifixion ever invented or thought of) prophets said they would pierce His hands and feet, and it happened! Ps. 22:1 “my God, why have you forsaken me?” Mt. 27:46 that happened! Zech. 11:2 sold by enemies for 30 silver Mt. 26:15 that happened! Is. 53:9 buried w/ a rich man Mt. 27 that happened!

  9. Reality “...you are the sons of the prophets and of the covenant...For you first....” “certainly this is the most striking coincidence of details.” I guess what we can learn from this is to ask the question, How are people missing Him today???” What is our answer today church?

  12. Things I want you to do Reality Find some common ground with some one and then witness the greatness of God in your life. If you say you believe in God you are on the right track, but need to go further. “How are people missing Him today???”What is our answer today church? “If any man be in Christ he is a new creature; the old things have gone and the new things have come.”
