Introduction The red wolf, (Canis lupus rufus, formerly Canisrufus) is part of a family of carnivorous mammals that includes dogs, wolves, jackals, and foxes.The original red wolf range extended throughout the Southeast, from the Atlantic and Gulf Coasts, north to the Ohio River Valley and central Pennsylvania, and west to central Texas and south eastern Missouri.

  3. Habitat It’s habitats included forests, swamps, and coastal prairies, where it was an apex predator. Its species mainly lives in North Carolina.

  4. Diet The red wolf mainly Consumes Deers, Rodents, Raccoons and wild Rabbits. Nonmammalian prey, domestic pets, and livestock were uncommon as prey items, but they did occur in very low numbers (less than 2 percent). A red wolf consumes about two to five pounds of food per day.

  5. Conclusion I think we should conserve them as a part of a memorial animal for our next generations, as well as for us to learn and appreciate nature. I hate Man to kill these precious animals. Who needs Fur bags? Just carry a plastic bag will do right? Also for saving Nature 
