  4. Service-based,Federated Approach • Hardware at DPS carries little data • Services pushed out by agency partners are consumed by viewer • Service ‘owners’ maintain data • HSEM/SEOC may also create and publish services – later phase

  10. Future Plans • Addition of more services to accommodate our partners • Expanded use of widgets and custom widget development • Better KML/KMZ capability • A second viewer integrated into DisasterLAN – using SilverLight technology • Redundancy and Fail-over
