SRP System Model • EMS Model - 2200 BUSES • Voltage Levels - 500kV down to the 12kV Level • Neighbors • Arizona Public Service Company (APS) • Western Area Power Administration (WAPA) • Tucson Electric Company (TEP) • Full Arizona footprint (BES) with some lower voltage parallel Neighboring Systems (APS) • Network Model reaches several Buses into… • South California • Nevada • Utah • Colorado • New Mexico

SRP REAL TIME SEQUENCE (RTS) • RTS Cycles Every 6 seconds. • State Estimator Runs every 30 seconds • Real-Time-Contingency Analysis runs every 5 minutes • Total of 850 Contingencies (and growing) • All SRP 69kV to 500kV (N-1) • Creditable BES (N-N) • Neighbor’s BES • Open-End Line Contingencies (Closing Angle Exceedances)

Current Control Page • All Results from RTCA for both SRP and Non SRP Contingency are displayed on the same page. • No way to sort between SRP and Non SRP exceedances. • No way to sort between (N-1) and (N-N) exceedances. • Results sorted by severity resulting in all the (N-N) contingency dominating the page.
