  2. “Let brotherly love continue.” Hebrews13:1 Brotherly Love Continue - implies they had it Philadelphia - family love - family of God 1 John 4:20-21 - “love his brother also” Christians are the best people on earth Ps. 133:1 “Behold how good and how pleasant is for brethren to dwell together in unity.” Rom. 12:10 “Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring on another.”

  3. “Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.” Hebrews13:2 Hospitality Duty under Law of Moses - Lev. 19:34 Christians also “given to hospitality” Rm. 12:13 “Use hospitality one to another without grudging.” I Pet.4:9 Entertained angels - Genesis 18-19 Abraham and Lot

For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

  11. Be content • “not slothful in business” Rm. 12:11 Contentment Romans 8:28 “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”
