  1. Roxen

  2. Public information aboutRoxen Interview with Per-Erik Larson on Thursday 10/11-11 When to watchhow an inland lake feels so shouldalwaysassumedwere the Lake is and what it has of streamsflowingthere. To Roxenflowsquite a lot of water from such as Stångån, Svartån and Motalaström. The water that flows to the lake must fast be transported from the lake as fast as possible. With rivers and rainfollows it alsomuchnutrients from farms around-toRoxen.

  3. Roxen is overfeed Roxen has not dimensions so welldue to the use of environmental toxins and chemicalfertilisers for agriculture. If you see to what is livingthere, in the Lake like the fishes, so is it the case that the morenutrients in the sea the morefishwill be able to live there. Pike and perchhavemoredifficult to compete with otherfishsuch as the minnow. A marine must have a goodbalance. That'sabout as arable land, we must fertilize to get a niceharvest. Same with the Lake, the more nutrition giveevenmorefish. Humans affect the Lake verymuch with all pollutant in Roxen, for example the individualsewage, deforestation and agriculture. All this affectshow the water becomes. In acidifying areas you try to clean the water becauseif the water becomesacidicformedmercury it willdefinitely not be good. Roxen is a bit more on the contrary, almost overfeed. Phosphorus and nitrogen, it is mainlyfound in Roxen is after all nutrients not toxins. They are not toomuchagriculturebutweneed to check howmuchmanure and otherfertiliserswhichweput on the fields, wetakesamples on earth so wecan check howmuchneeded in variousplaces so that the earthdoes not becomeunnecessarilyoverfeedsomewhere. It is machinery that operates it, and seehowmuchmanureneeded in variousplaces. As soon as you turndownsomething and so calledopenground is it leak, then the excess fertilizerssuch as come with the rain and ending up in Roxen. This is the inlet and outflow from Norsholm into the lake Roxen.

  4. Pollutants in Roxen We humans affect the Lake very much with all pollutions to the lake Roxen, for example, individual sewage, deforestation and agriculture. All this affects how the water becomes. In acidify areas, they try to calcimine (a way of cleaning the water) but if the water gets acidic it creates mercury and it's definitely not good. Roxen is a bit more on the contrary, almost overfeed. Phosphorus and nitrogen, are mainly found in Roxen and they are after all not toxins. There is only one professional fishermen in Roxen. He lives close to Roxen. In the past there were more fishermens, but now there’s only one left. In Roxen there is mostly sportfishing, they’re fishing pike, perch and zander. If you want to angle, do it in Svartå river. (which flows into Lake Roxen). When you’re fishing on a fishingboat in the lake, mainly pikes are caught. The amount of perch has declined in the Lake, for unknown reason. The only thing we know is that the perch simply does not thrive there any longer. The perch still exists but the size is now much smaller. Östergötland’s County Board think it is because the cormorants (which is a bird) has eaten up the bigger fishes. They should definitely not die of starvation anyway. Inquires have even been made. The fishes look fine and healthy, but they never get any big.

  5. What about the fish ? When the fish will grow and gets bigger they eat other fish, mainly the fish nors. The nors, however, has almost disappeared and it depends on the power plant. When the nors swims upstreams Svartå river and ' play ', then they mate and lay eggs but it doesn´t work with all power plants. It is false to say there’s only one single reason causing the damage to the fishes and the Lake, but it is the only clear threat to the norsfish. There're still nors in the lake but not as much as before. The Community is trying to get back the norsfish. They are going to regulate the power plant and check the water tumbles. Of course Roxen has been very affected because of inter alia and algal bloom, but with the help of various projects of the Community, the municipality and County Administration ensure that Roxen is less affected. Roxen is very shallow, maximum 8 meters. The bottom consists of sedment. When it’s windy the waves make the bottom sediment move and it spreads out into the water. You need a machine to clean up all the sediment.

  6. What can we do to help ? Weordinarypeoplecan’tdo so much to help, butif you live near the water and has your ownsewage, sees the commune to the houses get bettercleaning system. Our water in Linköping goes to waste, we must begin to thinkaboutwhatwewashesdowninto the toilet. There are so many who believe that the water simplydisappears and washesdown a bunch of otherthings in the toilet for examplemedicines. So the peoplehere must be informed of the damagestheycaus. Whensomeonewashes his carhimself with variouscleaningproducts so draining the water and the variousfunds are down in the wells and the water flowsdown to the Stångån and eventuallyeventhen to Roxen. Now, it is prohibited to washtheircar at home on the street. Use the special carwashesinstead, there are usually present in petrol stations. Windowcleaning is not as environmentallyfriendly as if you uselemon, it actuallyworks! Coke is nice to drink butcanalso be used to washaway the rust and it is excellent to wash the toilet with it, the incredibly small and smart things that wedon’treallythinkabout. So instead of environmentallyunfriendlyproducts to cleanthings in everyday life, are thereplenty of other solutions. All the small things you doaffectRoxenpositively and makes it feelbetter
