Task1 In groups of 6 or more choose one of the three colonies and research: When the colony was established How the colony was established Where was the colony located Why it was established What was life like in the colony Who was instrumental in establishing and organizing the colony.   9. The Thirteen English Colonies • Task 2 • Your information should be presented to the class in a format decided upon by the group. • Suggestions • Create a website • By using power point • Poster Broads • Create a book/ Booklet

  10. The Thirteen English Colonies • Task 3 • Each group must create a journal of events that happened during this time in History. Each member must pretend to be a character from this period and write journal entries of things that happened to them. The events must be historically correct.

  11. The Thirteen English Colonies • Task 4 • Create posters or advertisements that could have been written to encourage settlers to go to the Americas

  12. The Thirteen English Colonies • Task 5 • Choose 1 or 2 characters who were instrumental in establishing your colony. • Create questions you would ask this character and set up an interview with this person for the class to watch. • The interview can be live or it can be pre-taped.

  13. The Thirteen English Colonies • Task 6 • Submit six question that will become part of a bank of questions for final assessment. • Each question you submit will be placed on the final test for ALL students to answer.
