  1. Environmental Showcase- Picture Slideshow Cali, Danielle and Jordyn

  2. Background- Chesapeake Bay • This is a diagram of the Chesapeake Bay. Many turtles and other organisms live in the Bay, many of which are endangered for various reasons, including pollution, hunting, coastal development, and more. 

  3. Poplar Island This is Poplar Island, where Squirt, our turtle, is going to be relocated in June. It is an island along the Chesapeake Bay. They have a program where we can interact with and then drop off our turtle later this year.

  4. Background- Diamondback Turtle This is the internal anatomy of a diamondback turtle. This is the plastron. It is the bottom of the shell. This is the top layer of the turtle. It is protective.
