  2. Ship 1659 is a very active unit. Along with our sister units we have a rich history of being heavily involved in the District, Council and Community. You are about to see only a brief overview of what we have done in the past 12 months. It has always been and will always be the honor of Scouting 1659 to serve in any capacity needed; any time. This commitment to service has earned Ship 1659 the 2006, 2007, 2008, & 2009 Platinum Award for Excellence in Scouting. With that said, let me introduce you to Sea Scouting – 1659 style…
