  2. PACE proposes a method of teaching and learning that can easily be adapted to the present curricola Along these lines, my idea was to invite a colleague of mine, prof. Francesca Rosetti, teacher of Italian Literature to a collaboration A meeting point was found both on method and contents and its center was the idea of GARDEN

GARDEN OF THOUGHTS is a project aiming to promote excellence in the city of Forlì through the creation of a garden The project has already been started as a joint initiative of Liceo scientifico of Forlì and the local authorities Within the wider project of the restoration of the historical center of Forlì, it is meant to lead to the creation of a physical but also a virtual garden

  6. Rotary Club of Cesena is the promoter of a of a project to recover the city center through a contest named LISTEN TO YOUR HEART, CITY! Prof. Rosetti and I have thought we could enter this contest with a class, whose work could take the challenge

  7. Out of the convergence of these different inputs: PACE, the Garden of thoughts, the contest Listen to your heart city, we developed VOICES TRAIL A proposal to requalify the park around the castle of Cesena, through the creation of a thematic trail centered on Dante and Divine Comedy

  8. Out of PACE’s methodVoices trail has taken some fundamental elements • Teacher-student collaboration • Workgroup • A research where students can be protagonists Students were invited to work on the idea of a trail in a park based on symbolical voices

Last year students could approach the theme of Renaissance gardens visiting some of them in Central Italy This year they could apply this experience and the informations they achieved to a concrete project they started to develop writing down a “blueprint” of this trail The students were offered a sequence of symbolical plants and flowers to be analysed in the light of Divine Comedy and Renaissance culture
