学术报告 ENVIRONMENTALLY-FRIENDLY SURFACE LAYERS FOR ENHANCED CORROSION PROTECTIONProf.Vesna Miskovic-Stankovic Education 1981 – BSc, Polymer Chemistry and Technology, University of Belgrade 1984 – MSc, Chemical engineering, University of Belgrade 1990 – PhD, Chemical engineering, University of Belgrade Professional Carriers Department of Physical Chemistry and Electrochemistry, Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy, University of Belgrade 1983 Teaching Assistant 1992 Assistant Professor 1997 Associate Professor 2002-present Professor 2006-2012 Head of Department Abstract Novel, environmentally-friendly surface layers - phosphate, polyaniline (PANI), silane and cerium-based conversion coatings (CeCCs) deposited on metal surface prior to organic topcoat (epoxy, polyester), are synthesized and characterized with the aim to obtain the novel coatings that will be able to retard the corrosion of metal substrate. It was shown that the structure of the obtained surface layers is considered to be a crucial factor in metal stability, and the determination of surface properties, i.e. the formation of a stable protective layer is, thus, critical in the design and engineering of new materials.
