  2. Colombia We live in Colombia. Colombia is located in South America. The capital of Colombia is Bogota. There are about 40,000,000 people in Colombia. Montelíbano, our city, is located in the department (state) of Cordoba. Córdoba is in the north west of Colombia. We have beaches,prairies,mountains and meadows. WELCOME TO COLOMBIA AND TO MONTELIBANO.

  3. We can find a variety of fauna in our city. There are big, small, strange looking, dangerous, amazing animals. These are kind of worms that live on land. These are important for plants because they fertilize the soil.

  4. This is a capibara.Capibaras are mammals and in our city there are a lot of them. They are awesome and beautiful. They are protected and cannot be hunted. This is a ”chinche” .If you come in contact with its urine in any part of your body, it will give you an infection.

  5. There are several kinds of birds in Montelibano.They are all beautiful and they live in peace.

  6. Our plants and flowers are exotic and we work hard to preserve them. In Montelíbanothere are a lot of strange and exotic plants. Animals hide on them and also they sleep on them.

  7. Our School FEM • (Fundacion Educativa De Montelibano) Our school is very beautiful.It is the biggest in Montelibano. There are 1,300 students.

  8. Fem is sponsored by Cerro Matoso mining company. It was created in 1981.

  9. Where do welive…? Our neighborhoods are clean and safe. We aresorroundedby nature and we try to preserve it. We recycle and welearnedthatweshould notlitter.

  10. We usually go out for a walk to enjoy nature and to have a good time with our family and friends.

  11. The biggest attraction in Montelíbano is The Ecological Park.

  12. In the park you can walk, ride a boat, ride bicycle,go jogging, play in the play grounds, have lunch, watch animals, fish, and have fun.
