Summary • The transport of the Agulhas C. in POCM has a seasonal variation with a maximum towards the end of the austral spring and a minimum towards the end of the austral summer. • The seasonal signal originates in the western tropical region and propagates through the Mozambique Channel. • We found NO linkages between the seasonal variations of the Indonesian throughflow and the Agulhas Current transport.
