Implied proximity • Search terms entered without Boolean or proximity operators: the w proximity operator is assumed • Example :AIR BAG , (instead of: AIR W BAG) • Available in most of the databases(check availability in fact sheets) With implied adjacency, you may use right-hand and internal truncation, but not left-hand truncation!!
