ImPoRtAnCe Of ThENoTrEDaMeCaThEdRaL • The importance of the Notre dame Cathedral is that it is one of the finest gothic cathedrals built in the twelfth century and it is situated right in the heart of Paris on an island in the middle of the river Seine.
