  2. What is it about ..? Hey there ! As you coud guess, this diaporama is about the 2012 Olympic Games. I am going to present you different much expected athletes, their sports and of course their outsanding records. Are you ready ? Lets do it !

  3. So many sports !!! The Olympic Games include several games. Let’s discover some of them and their champions : • Boxing • Weightlifting • Archery

Boxing • Boxing is a sport that is more and more apreciated by all kind of people. • And this year, it is going to be the first time that women can take part to this violent game ! • The competitions are going to take place in the ExCel Centre. • The most expected athletes are: • Abdelhafid Benchabla, an Algerian athlete. He is classified 3rd champion in the world who weights less than 81kg. • Clemente Russo, an Italian athlete who was the champion in Chicago in 2007. • It is so exiting, isn’t it ?

  5. Weightlifting • Weightlifting is one of the most fascinating sports in the Olympic Games. The rules are simple: lift more weight than the other contestants. The competion is going to take place in the ExCel Center of London. • The game is open to everyone, men and women and the most attended athletes are: • Zoe Smith, British champion who already won 1 gold medal in her short carrier ! • She began weightlifting at the age of 16. • Naim Soleymanogly, turkish champion who won 3 olympic gold medals ! • He began weighlifting at the age of 15. • I think that Naim will win this year, don’t you ..?

Archery • Archery was first used for hunting and killing in the war, the passion became a game in the Olympics. • This game is going to take place in Lord’s Cricket Ground, in London of course. • The goal of the sport is simple: you must shoot arrows as close to the centre of a target as possible. Many people are participating, but the most expected champions are : • -Park Sung Hyun, Korean champion who holds 3 gold medals, and a silver one. She is surely talented ! • Tom Barber, British champion who won a medal in 2002, a silver one in 2007 and is aiming at the 2012 Olympic games ! • Who do you think will win ? Park or Tom ?..

  7. Medals In all competitions, there are unforgettable prizes ! In this 2012 Olympic Games, the rewards are : For the best athlete, a gold medal. For the second athlete a silver medal. And for the third place a bronze medal. Some pre-exemples of the 2012 medals.

  8. London could never have hosted the Olympic Games without showcasing the historic sites of its spectacular city centre as : The River bank Arena Hyde Park Lord’s Cricket Ground Wembley Arena ExCel and many other places !!!
