The challenge of sexual immorality • Immorality--Premarital sexual relationships, adultery, homosexuality • Impurity--Sexual conduct that makes one unclean. • Greed--Lust or obsession that is idolatry • Filthiness--Foul language, shameful talk • Silly talk--Foolish speech • Course jesting--”Dirty” jokes

  3. Why these things must be put away • Because they are shameful • Because they are unfruitful • Because they evoke the wrath of God • Because they will result in eternal condemnation

  4. The solution to sexual immorality • Imitate God and walk in love • Vocalize gratitude to God for His blessings • Realize our calling as unique people • Adopt a confrontational mindset toward sexual evil

  5. As Christians we must be little islands of purity in a sea of immorality. We cannot afford to let down our guard.
