Artistic Interpretation of Guernica: Colombia's Struggle for Peace

An exploration of the political influence on the Guernica painting by Pablo Picasso during the Spanish Civil War, transformed to depict the violence and suffering in Colombia due to guerrilla warfare, kidnapping, and mines. Through a photo collage technique using modern technology, the project highlights the societal pain and impact of violence, reflecting on historical and contemporary conflicts. The project aims to raise awareness of the enduring effects of violence on communities and calls for peace and reconciliation. The reinterpretation captures the essence of the original Guernica while shedding light on Colombia's struggles and the need for a peaceful resolution.
