Purpose of HS ELA Collaborative • Provide 9-12 English Language Arts professional learning for our region • Share resources and expertise among members • Provide a vehicle through which the 9-12 ELA CCGPS training can be implemented • Create a collaborative support group among 9-12 ELA teachers
Professional Learning Topics Topics suggested by the regional data dig and the Literacy Advisory Board include: • student-involvement in assessment • data team process • effective instructional planning • writing exemplars • teacher feedback and commentary • differentiation
