Networked digital library of theses and dissertations • NDLTD; www.ndltd.org • Established in 1996 • Dedicated to promoting the adoption, creation, use, dissemination, and preservation of electronic analogues to the traditional paper-based theses and dissertations • International organization • Annual Meeting; 2009 June 10-13, Philadelphia
Appalachian regional ETD Consortium • AR-ETD • Established ~ 2004 • To promote ETD program implementation, to increase membership in the NDLTD and to ultimately improve the economic conditions in the Appalachian region
Ohio ETD Association Model • OETDA; www.oetda.org • Established ~ 2006 • Closely associated with, but separate from, OhioLink • Board of 3 members • Member of NDLTD • Host spring 2-day conference and fall 1-day meeting
OETDA Purpose Statement OETDA seeks to address issues important to the ETD community, increase ETD knowledge of its members, provide information on how to increase productivity through the sharing of “best-practices”, provide networking and learning opportunities, advance the ETD professional role, establish standards, promote ETD open access, and more
