Building-based Inquiry Teams (NTs and NTEs) • Teachers, teacher leaders & administrators • Using data to change instruction (classroom and/or school scale) • 90 min/week for the building teams (ambiguous) What Participating Districts Must Also Do
Participating districts are required to use up to 75% of RTTT allocation for: • Purchase services of BOCES RTTT Network Team or Assure Network Team Equivalency • Expend balance of allocation on menu of approved activities RTTT Scope of Work
Participating districts are required to use 25% of RTTT allocation for: Support development and implementation of APPR Training evaluators (of teachers and principals) Funds available after certification by SED, so some of other 75% probably will be used for this function, too RTTT Scope of Work
Each Network Team consists of at least the equivalent of three full-time professionals • Roles and responsibilities of each team member based Network Teams essential functions and local context(s) • Network Teams participate in SED PD activities on monthly/quarterly basis RTTT Network Teams
Curriculum and Instruction, including implementation of common core (CCSS) and subsequent (presently optional) curriculum models • Supporting the development and administration ofassessments • Data collection, analysis and use • Work with building Inquiry Teams to “make the instructional cycle dynamic and student-focused” RTTT Network Teams
