Love river: People call it Kaohsiung river before. Because of a boat shop , its name is different now . Its name is Love river Boat shop. Someday a typhoon broke the sign . But it only broke last three words . Only has the first three words . Many people saw it.So people call it Love river .
GaopingRiver: It’s in south Taiwan . It’s the second longest river in Taiwan , but it’s bad now . Because many factorys , and homes to discharge sewage into the river . So it’s not cleaner than before.
Cheng Ching Lake: Its old name is DapiLake . It’s the biggest lake in Kaohsiung . There is a island in the lake , name “PhuQuoc Island” . And there is some vegetation around the river , for exmple: King Coconuts, Lagerstroemia speciosas, Sakura , and the Kapoks.
Lotus Pond: It’s the biggest pond in Zuoyingin Kaohsiung. It derives from Gaoping River. It was one of 23 competition venues in World Games. There were water sports games.
Kaohsiung Harbor: Kaohsiung Harbor is one of four International ports in Taiwan. It was a fishing village in the later Ming Dynasty. Its name was Takao Harbor before. It has a half of Taiwan’s goods Throughput.
