  2. Summary • Vacmet was established in year 1993 as metallizing & coating company with a small capacity of 1200 tons per year. Over the years Vacmet has grown and now a leading producer of Polyester & BOPP Films in India. Total combined capacity of PET & BOPP is 88,000 tons per year. Vacmet also have 3 converting units for manufacturing High Barrier Films, Metallized Films and Speciality Coated Films & Paper. • Vacmet has strong domestic and International presence. It exports to more than 50 countries across the globe directly, through its associates and also via its Vacmet Europe Limited wholly owned subsidiary in the United Kingdom. • Vacmet diversified product range caters to wide range of markets including Flexible Packaging, Security , Medical, Textiles, Labelling, Decoration, Electrical & Insulation. • Vacmet manufactures Polyester film from 8 microns to 100 microns and BOPP Films from 10 microns to 50 microns in width 20 mm upwards. • Vacmet has strong focus on product quality, innovation and technological up-gradations. Vacmet core competence is in the manufacturing and supply of wide range of speciality products under one roof. • Vacmet Film division is ISO 9001 and 22000 certified where as converting Unit is ISO 9001 and 14001 certified. Manufacturing Facilities • Vacmet has 4 manufacturing sites based at Chatta which is 100 kms from New Delhi, India. • Vacmet has dedicated workforce of more than 1000 personnel. • 1 Manufacturing site is dedicated for production of Pet & BOPP films whereas 3 others are for Metallizing and Specialty coatings POLYESTER FILMS • 2 Dedicated Films lines • 1 x 7500 mm, 1 x 8750 mm • 3 Layer lines , one line with twin screw • Both sides and Single Side on-line coating • Total Production : 52,000 tons/year • Thickness range 8 – 100 mic • Width : - 20 mm onwards • Length : 3000 mtrs onwards Vacmet India Limited 13

New Development & Quality • New product development is strong focus area for Vacmet. • We are working towards products that are cost effective and environment friendly. • Bio-degradable Polyester is under development stage and once introduced would provide a significant advantage over regular plastic films. • Products are passed through extensive tests regularly in order meet customer specifications. A full research labs with all required equipments ensures tests at regular intervals. Transmission Lines etc.) 100 Crs. • BOPET Plant (55000 MTPA)(2 Nos.) 410 Crs. • BOPET Plant Optical Grade (20000 MTPA) 215 Crs. • BOPP Plant (36000 MTPA) (1 Nos.) 205 Crs. • PET Chips Plant (72000 MTPA) 110 Crs. • Metalizer / Coating Machines / Laminator (50000 MTPA) 150 Crs. • Housing Colony & Training Center 75 Crs. • Total Project Cost 1500 Crs. • The above project investment will be completed with in a span of 5 Years in 3 Phases. • The above project Investment shall be funded by Equity Contribution, Funding from Domestic Banks & Foreign Banks namely Landes Banks, Germany and others.

Scheme • Company is looking for following Fiscal Incentives and Concessions from State Government • FISCAL INCENTIVES • Capital Subsidy of 20% on Total Fixed Capital Investment i.e. Land, Building, Infrastructure (Road, Power Lines, Power Plant), Plant & Machinery • Interest Free Central Sale Tax / Value added Tax / Commercial Tax for a period of 15 years to be repayable in next 15 years. • CONCESSIONS • Waiver of Stamp Duty on Purchase of Land • Waiver of Development Charges, Plan Approval Charges • Waiver of Entry Tax if any for Import of Raw Material from Other States • Waiver of Electricity Duty / Levy / Cess on Grid Power or on Captive Power Generation • OTHER INFRASTRUCTURE • Health Centre • Education Institution up to 12th Standard • Inland Container Depot for Import & Export 20

Advantage to State Government • The above project investments shall be creating an Industrial Environment in the area which shall be opening employment opportunities of around 1500 people in the state. By implementation of above project, ancillary units will also be developed in nearby area to provide employment opportunities to unemployed person which is estimated to more than 10,000 families. • Contribution to Exchequer:- • Once all plant investment is completed it will be collecting Central Excise Duty of 100 Crs. per year. • Sales Tax of around 25 crs. per year • A payment of Income Tax 25 Crs annually • This investment shall open opportunities for fresh investments from vendors and service providers of the company. • All this will result into Economic Growth of that Area. • Company will be a foreign exchange earner of around 160 million USD every year. Apart from that company also embarking to save foreign exchange outgo in case of Import substitution by way of manufacturing Optic Grade BOPET film which is currently being Imported 21 21
