  2. Do you have access to a computer at home or at school? Most people do… Young children are learning to use computer and many know more than most adults…

  3. Ipads Cell phones

  4. In the past we wrote on stones, parchment, paper, then used typewriters, electric typewriters, basic computers, lap tops, ipads… Touch screen is the one of the most recent technologies…

  5. There are many gaming systems available to us… and new ones coming out every year…

  6. Technology is being used to clean our house

  7. Technology gives us instant information about where we are or where we want to be.

  8. Technology is used in the health care system to manage all of the patients information in one place where every who needs that information can access it at any time.

  9. Vehicles are being equipped with sensors to pick up on what is going on around the vehicle. Some vehicles can park themselves. SYNC allows you to go hands free for all your devices and use voice commands to use them.

  10. Clean drinking water is an issue in many 3rd World Countries. Technology is making it possible for more people to have access to healthy water.

  11. Speaking of 3rd World Countries…

  12. Solar power utilizes the sun.

  13. We can keep on top of how much money we have , pay bills and buy something at the touch of a button.

  14. As the push to “reduce our footprint” continues, technology allows us to go paperless.

  15. What’s next?

  16. Basically, technology is anything that has been improved on and “made better” somehow. We use many forms of technology in our lives, you may not realize how much you rely on it, until your battery dies or the power goes out. Here is your assignment:

  17. Find images/pictures of TEN items that you use in your daily life that involves technology. In at least 500 words, briefly explain the items you have found. Pick TWO of those items and explain how they have enriched your life or made it simpler. Then choose ONE item that has take something away from your life.
