Innovation and Development Program • Innovation and Development projects support research, development and innovation related to the enhancement of learning and teaching in higher education.  A wide range of priority areas is covered including assessment, curriculum renewal, student diversity and internationalisation. • Closing date 5pm (AEST/AEDT), Friday 3 August 2012 Margaret Kiley: The Australian National University

Leadership for Excellence in Learning and Teaching Program • Leadership for Excellence projects build leadership capacity in ways consistent with the promotion and enhancement of learning and teaching in contemporary higher education. • Closing date 5pm (AEST/AEDT), Friday 3 August 2012 Margaret Kiley: The Australian National University

Extension Grants • Extension Grants support the continued dissemination and embedding of completed learning and teaching projects.  These may be projects funded within institutions, or by one of the OLT's predecessor bodies. • Closing date 5 pm, Monday 3 September 2012 Margaret Kiley: The Australian National University

Seed Projects • Seed Projects provide for pilot projects which test and evaluate an original idea.  Applications can address any of the priorities in the Innovation and Development or Leadership for Excellence programs, or any other topic. • Closing date 5pm  (AEST/AEDT), Friday 3 August 2012 Margaret Kiley: The Australian National University

Commissioned Projects • Responses are sought from eligible higher education institutions to the following strategic projects commissioned by the Office for Learning and Teaching: • Academic Integrity • Professionalisation of the Academic Workforce. • Closing date 5.00 pm (AEST) on Friday 25 May 2012. ANU Processes • Participation in workshops • 31 May and 20 June • Finalise application; to College Dean for signing • Submitted to Beth Harris in CHELT no later than Friday 20 July (or for Extension 20 August) to go to PVC (Learning and Teaching) for signing • Returned to you for uploading through the OLT Grants Portal before the closing date. Workshop: Thursday 31 May • Please bring three copies of your draft and separately three copies of your abstract/summary written in language that a non-specialist understands • We will workshop at least the abstracts, and time permitting, other parts of the applications.
