How would you estimate times and effort and equipment for the project? • Estimated three iterations at Digital Measures • One week for kickoff, two weeks for redesign • One week for review time • Equipment is purchased and in place (project already in process) • What specific issues and challenges would you face? • Pushback from faculty • Learning curve for redesigns (getting all input) • Training for 2500+ faculty members • Lead time for Digital Measures redesigns • Communication between OIR and Faculty members

What are the uncertainties involved in the project activity times? • Individual task completion based on current timeline • Number of drafts required • Training/communication • How would you incorporate those uncertainties in your time estimates? • 5-6 weeks of slack before final submission to Digital Measures • Training begins after first review with 6 weeks slack • How would you modify your time estimates with changing resource availabilities and the project progresses? • Crash Digital Measures lead time • Crash training (hiring additional training personnel from DM or allocate internal resources)

  4. Give examples of how you would level resource use • Incorporate training while Digital Measures is modifying database • How would you incorporate quality/time and effort/time tradeoffs? • Increase effort to maximize quality
