  4. Sugarcandy Mountain Sugarcandy Mountain relates to humans and their beliefs because when times are bad and people suffer, they look to the future and what that might hold for them. They think up something positive enough to support their spirits, and they tell themselves what might be the prize, and if all their painstaking efforts are worth it in the end. After this, they are able to pull themselves through it. Whatever time they may be going through, this method of buoying your spirits can work.

  5. What happened to the milk? • Why is this ominous for the animals’ rebellion?

Milk The milk had disappeared down the throats of the greedy pigs, who insisted it was for all the animals’ benefit, as it was that pigs were the smartest and needed the nutrients to keep their brain going. They used Squealer to help them persuade the animals, but even after this, the animals disagreed.

  7. Rebellions The pigs drinking all the milk has been ominous to the animals’ rebellion for many reasons. For Squealer is very persuasive, and because of this, the animals could starve to death. They only survive on the bare rations that they are given, and still they trust Napoleon to make their lives better.
